OVERVIEW:

**Amadeu Neves Profile** Amadeu Neves was born and raised just outside Lisbon, Portugal. Early on, he displayed a passion for movement, excelling in Gymnastics, particularly Trampolining. At age 9, he won a bronze medal in his first World Championship. He competed internationally, participating in 8 European Championships and 7 World Championships with the Portuguese National Team, gaining invaluable experiences and friendships. He attended the University of Human Kinetics, balancing his studies with high-level competition. In 2008, Amadeu began his fitness career as a personal trainer, focusing on Strength & Conditioning for gymnasts.

His exceptional skills led him to Cirque Du Soleil as a performer and Strength & Conditioning Coach. He performed on various stages worldwide, from Trampwall to Taiko Drums, in locations like Taipei, Japan, Las Vegas, and Riyadh, further enriching his life with experiences and connections. Amadeu discovered Crossfit in 2016 and has been a CF-L1 and Gymnastics coach since 2018. In 2022, he co-owns Matchbox Crossfit in Lisbon, where he coaches as a CF-L2. He aims to influence his students by striving for mastery, inspired by Vince Lombardi's quote: "Perfection is not attainable. But if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence."
